Made from an original USN Pilot wing embossing die I purchased some time back and then lost. Just found it and got right one making this example from memory. Not sure of the timeline but I've seen simple USN Wing Badge versions over the tears and all have been attributed to shortly after WW1. Looks freaking great is about all I can say...
The finish can be as light or dark as you please...
